The money will be paid via your inventory or the money bag of your servant, which is located inside your home at Construction level at 58.

The construction of furniture in your home will require you to be in Building Mode. There are many types of rooms that are constructed within your home and each one has different kinds of furniture. Every room requires a construction level and the same applies to all furniture. The higher the requirement is, the more construction XP you will earn.

Right-click on any of the doors in your home and choose "Build Door hotspot" to be able to select from a variety of rooms that are constructed based on your Construction level.

OSRS Construction Guide from Level 1 to 99

As we move on with this OSRS construction guide, we will be talking about what you can do with every construction level your character is on to increase the level of the skill quickly.

From Levels 1 through 4 of Construction

From level 1 to 4 you'll have to construct Crude Wooden Chairs inside the Parlour Room. Each chair requires 2 Planks and 2 Nails to be constructed. Nails can be bent, so the better the nails, the more they will bend. Nails aren't expensive at all So, buy a lot of nails until you get to Oak Planks where Nails are no longer needed. You'll also require a Saw and an Hammer in order to build anything.

Each chair will give you an XP of 58, which means that only 10 planks of regular length will be required to achieve level 4.

Level 4-9 Construction

From level 4 to 9, you'll need to build Wooden Bookcases in the Parlour room. Each Bookcase requires the following: 4 Planks and 4 nails to be built.

Building one Wooden Bookcase gives you 115 xp and only 28 Planks are required to complete Level 9.

The Construction Levels 9 through 22

From level 9 to level 22, you will need to build Wooden Larders in the Kitchen. Each wooden Larder needs 8 Planks and 8 Nails to construct.

A Wooden Larder gives you 228 ExP. It takes only 168 Planks are required to get to level 22.

Level 22-33 Construction

From level 22 to 33 You will have to build oak Tables in your Dining Room. Each Oak Table requires 4 Oak Planks. No nails will be needed for the foreseeable future as you won't be using regular Planks anymore.

Building one Oak Table gives you 240 ExP. Just 216 Oak planks will be required to reach level 33.

You can also begin building Carved Oak tables at level 31 Construction, each one gives you 360 XP and requires six Oak Planks instead of 4. Only 10 tables will be required to move up to level 33.

Level 33 to 52 Construction

From levels 33-52 You will have to build Oak Larders in the Kitchen. Each Oak Larder requires 8 Oak Planks.

Building one Oak Larder gives you 480 175 XP. However, only 1760 Oak Planks will be needed in order to achieve the level 52.

Level 52-99 Construction

From level 52 to 99, you will need to construct Mahogany Tables within the Dining Room. Each Mahogany Table requires at least 6 Mahogany Planks.

Making one Mahogany Table gives you an 840 XP level and 92,220 Mahogany Planks are required to get to the level 99.

This is the fastest way to make it to the 99th level within the game but it is very expensive. The price of 92,220 Mahogany planks can be estimated at 185 million Gold. Of course we'll show you some cheap alternative ways to make it to 99. Keep in mind that these ways are going to be slower than building Mahogany Tables.

If you plan to follow the cheap alternative ways, then you will only need 2,662 Mahogany Planks for Level 66 Construction before going to the cheaper methods.

Level 66 to 74 Construction (Alternative)

From level 66 to level 74, you'll need to construct Teak Garden Benches in the Superior Garden. Each Teak Garden Bench requires 6 Teak Planks.

Building one Teak Garden Bench will grant you 540 XP and 6,672 Teak Planks can be required in order to reach the level of 74.

Level 74 to 99 Construction (Alternative)

From levels 74-99 You will have to construct Oak Dungeon Doors in The Dungeon room. Each Oak Dungeon Door requires 10 Oak Planks.

Making one Oak Dungeon Door gives you 600 XP and you can earn 198,970 Oak Planks are required for you to be able to climb to the 99th level.

You can continue building Teak Garden Benches instead however it all depends on the budget you have set.

Overall, reaching high levels of Construction will enable you to use many useful objects in your house. It is the Ornate Pool could be among them which can be constructed at the level 90 Construction. It also holds on top of your stats, hitpoints and just about everything else.

There's also the fairy ring which allows you to directly teleport from your house through the fairy teleport system and can be constructed as high as level 85 Construction. The Nexus Portal is another thing that lets you teleport almost everywhere and you need level 92 Construction for it.

Remember that construction XP/hour ratios aren't easily calculated because they will differ for each depending on the time lags and how quickly you're able to become accustomed to the process.
