The History
Apple Juice Co was founded in 1980 in a small farm in upstate New York. The founders, John and Mary Smith, had been growing apples on their family farm for generations and wanted to find new ways to sell their harvest beyond the local farmers' market. They started experimenting with making fresh apple cider and apple juice from their crop. Word of their delicious products quickly spread in the community. Demand grew steadily and within a few years they had outgrown their home operation.

In 1985, it opened its first commercial production facility. This allowed them to scale up and distribute their juices to stores across the state. Their all-natural juices with no added sugars or preservatives became very popular. By the 1990s, apple juice concentrate had expanded to multiple facilities across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions. They were shipping their juices nationwide via major retailers and grocery chains.

Today, Apple Juice Concentrate Co has eight production plants located strategically near major apple growing regions. They source apples from over 100 family farms in New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Michigan. This vertically integrated supply chain allows them to closely monitor quality from orchard to bottle. Apple Juice Co remains family-owned with John and Mary's children now managing day-to-day operations as the third generation.
